Home > Free Knitting Classes in SF

I have free MONTHLY group lessons in the LARGE DOWNSTAIRS MEETING ROOM at the San Francisco Public Library Branch of The Richmond District, 351 9th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118. You must send an email reservation to patty@daisyyarns.com (just click the SEND EMAIL). Please no food (it unintentional gets on tables, projects, needles), drinks are fine. Tremendous fun! Everyone's knowledge and desire of learning is welcome. Do not worry about mistakes, these are the seeds of great beginnings.
We are known at the library as the San Francisco Fiber Group.
NEXT DATE: TO BE DETERMINED DUE TO UPCOMING SURGERY ON DECEMBER 8, 2009 THAT WILL REQUIRE SEVERAL WEEKS OF RECOVERY. I AM FINALLY HAVING THE EXCESSIVE SKIN REMOVED SEVERAL YEARS AFTER MY GASTRIC BY PASS SURGERY.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR BEGINNERS:
You must bring knitting needles that are size 8 or size 9, preferably bamboo. However, if you do bring metal ones that's fine. I bring extra yarn to class, but if you do purchase your own make sure it's NOT black or fuzzy. I highly recommend O-Wool CLASSIC Organic (See WOOL YARN Tab). Email me if this is for class as I will send you a special code to avoid shipping charges.
